Kiuassuola – A New Way to Experience Sauna Salt

Kiuassuola is a revolutionary sauna salt that transforms your home sauna into a wellness oasis. This is not the same experience you got from the sauna salts that didn't really evaporate.

This innovative product evaporates salt into the air, allowing you to enjoy the therapeutic effects of a salt room anytime — simply by adding it to your sauna steam. Our secret is the composition of Kiuassuola when used together with a Finnish soapstone base.

  • Moistens the steam and creates a light, breathable atmosphere
  • Softens the skin and reduces the need for moisturizers
  • Naturally antibacterial, additive-free, and fragrance-free; we use only high-quality, certified salts
  • When used with our Ilmari and Ilmari Kuura soapstone bases, it lasts for two months with twice-weekly sauna use
  • Safe to use directly on soapstone bases on the sauna heater, ensuring optimal results
  • Developed for people with sensitive skin, atopic skin, asthma, and allergies, but suitable for everyone — if you can enjoy a sauna, you can use Kiuassuola safely
  • Made in Finland and certified with the Key Flag for high-quality Finnish craftsmanship

Kiuassuola is available in two types: Himalayan rock salt and Atlantic sea salt. Both are ethically sourced from Portugal and Pakistan, respectively, and meet strict quality standards.

Kiuassuola always comes included with each Ilmari or Ilmari Kuura soap dish. Additional packs and double packs are also available — choose between Himalayan rock salt, Atlantic sea salt, or both.

Rooted in the Finnish mindset, sauna culture, and innovation, Kiuassuola brings wellness from pure raw materials to powerful sensory experiences. Embrace ritual, wellbeing, and the timeless Finnish sauna tradition from the comfort of your own home.

Welcome to the new era of sauna wellness with Kiuassuola!
